Set Your Goals Straight with Joe’s Goal
Joe’s Goal was one of the breakthrough GTD online service of 2007. With recent improvements include fully Ajax implementation, printable tracker, customizable display option; Joe’s Goal is all set to give similar commercial GTD applications a run for their money. Ian Smith (the developer) writes about his inspiration behind JG:
Inspired somewhat by Benjamin Franklins 13 Virtues, I built Joe’s Goals to make it stupidly simple to create, track, and share your personal goals. It is a productivity application that is actually easy enough to use.Joe’s Goals uses Yahoo’s Java script Library, the FamFamFam free icon library, Tango Icon Library, Spiffy Corners, Mysql, and ColdFusion. The blog uses Wordpress and a theme designed by In My Pad.
The service itself is free, but with paltry $12 a month you can use the service ad free. Which is not really an issue because there is only one banner ad on top. This $12 is more like a donation which I am more than happy to pay for such a good free application.
